 Port / Wine
Underwood Wines are the largest independent wine merchants based in Warwick.
The business has been established for over 20 years and is owned by two brothers - Nick and Tim Underwood.
The warehouse features over 1,000 different wines from across the world ranging from vintage labels to wines for under £4 a bottle.
The company also sells a range of quality spirits, cognacs, malt whiskies and port, as well as beers, lagers, ciders and soft drinks. Useful to know during the heat, Underwood Wines offers an ice making facility producing up to 1000 bags, or 4 tonnes, of ice per week.
We recommend the following ports to complement your cheeses:
• Taylor’s 10 Year Old Tawny
Mellow and elegant port combining delicate wood notes with rich aromas of mature fruit.
• Krohn Heritage Tawny Port
Garnet red with a red-brown rim, fine and complex nose with rich, spicy dried fruit and nut flavours. Exceptionally good value.
• Royal Oporto Vintage Port 1977
Traditional Vintage port from a great vintage – The wine is mature and drinking well now. Requires Decanting.

 Chutneys & Biscuits
We can also supply a range of quality chutneys and biscuits to accompany the cheese – we are happy to help and advise you.
Crackers & Breads
There are many different varieties of crackers; traditional ones like Carr’s water biscuits and Bath Olivers, or perhaps a selection, such as, black olive crackers, charcoal wafer biscuits and celery crackers. A great alternative to biscuits is a ‘bread basket’. Homemade bread is great with cheese.
Chutneys
We recommend having a selection of chutneys. One of our favourites is fig chutney – it complements many cheeses, but there are several fruit chutneys to choose from, e.g. mango, which in our family, is also much-loved with cheddar. You may not always want sweet chutney, so we can source some great chilli chutneys to spice things up!
A fixed price will be confirmed per order and payment in full is required two weeks prior to delivery.
 Fruit
If you have looked at our cheese cakes you will have noticed some already come with fruit, mainly for decorative purposes. However, we can supply additional fruit or celery for your guests as well as adding extra for decoration. We are happy to supply traditional and/or exotic fruits. Please email us with any enquiries

Our cheese cakes are always presented on a stand and if you are having a cake designed especially for you, you can choose from nine stands:

Please note the cake stands & boards (separators and pillars) are supplied on a loan basis. We will supply you with a pre-paid return postage box, so all you need to do is put the stand or board in the box with the separators, if applicable, seal it and return it to us.
 Corporate / Personalised Ribbon
If you are having a corporate event, or a special party, we can supply personalised ribbon. (see example). This will create an exclusive centre piece and could be useful for any future occasion.
This will incur a small additional cost depending on the quality/detail of the corporate logo and the required length. Please contact us with your requirements / logo and we will provide you with a no obligation quote.
 Personalised Toppers
A traditional wedding cake usually has a bride and groom topper, so why not a ‘cheese cake’? We are happy to arrange for personalised handmade bride or groom cake tops. These will incur an additional charge, to be added to the complete cheese cake cost.
If you prefer something different such as, doves, stars, hearts, or caricatures – please let us know and we will try and meet your requests. Or if you already have a topper you wish to use, we will be happy to add it to the cheese cake arrangement.
For a special birthday (see example) or anniversary, we can obtain the ‘right number’ to enhance the cake decoration. For example, for a thirtieth birthday party, we could source a number 30 cake separator or topper. Similarly, we can obtain names and initials to personalise your cheese cake.
Cheese Menus
We can supply menus, listing the cheeses in your cake. You can either have a simple named list or a few lines describing each cheese; origin and characteristics.
We are happy to provide traditional menus for the table or display the cheese descriptions on an authentic slate board.
